In your browser
Chats, agents, memory notes, skills, Orbit runs and receipts are stored in this browser's localStorage. You can export or delete each category in Settings. Ephemeral chats are never written.
On Crescent's server
The server relays your request to the provider you selected and streams the answer back. It does not store or log prompts, images or completions. It creates a metadata receipt (hashes, model, timings, usage) which is returned to you, not kept.
At the provider
When you send, the provider you chose processes your prompt: NVIDIA's hosted API for Nemotron, the Lovable AI Gateway for Preview AI, or your own server for the self-hosted route. Their terms govern retention.
Rate limiting
To prevent abuse of a paid relay, the server counts requests per network address in memory for a few minutes. No identity is recorded.
What Crescent does not claim
No hardware attestation is performed, so Crescent makes no confidential-computing or TEE claims, and receipts state attestation: none. A signature authenticates Crescent's statement; it doesn't prove correctness or non-retention.
No token
Crescent has no token, no market and no affiliation with NVIDIA, Nous Research or Sable.
